“The Internet wasn’t meant to be metered in bits and bytes, so it’s insane that wireless companies are still making you buy it this way. The rate plan is dead — it’s a fossil from a time when wireless was metered by every call or text.” John Legere 1/5/2017

Videos sent from desktop PC to phone via Bluetooth don’t always show up

I have an AT&T Cingular Flip2 (legally Alcatel 4044O) converted to h2o in 2019.

In recent weeks I have tried to transfer videos from my desktop PC (an HP Compaq 6000 Pro Sff PC with an Intel Core2 Duo E8400 3.00 GHz running Windows 10 Pro) to the phone using a Bluetooth connection.

Such transfers appear to go through properly, but of three or four files I sent, only one was actually listed in the Video listing on the phone. The files appear on File Explorer if I enable USB storage and connect a compatible USB cable to the phone.

Would using the cable work better, or should I first try a different USB Bluetooth adapter?

cheapest activation for porting

what is the cheapest plan to activate a tracfone just to port out?

I need a number to port in to Cricket. Evidently a At&t NVMO number is not eligible because my FreedomPop number on a At&t sim isn’t eligible.

Samsung Galaxy A42 5G with a small surprise inside.

Good news coming for all people who interested in the cheapest Samsung model called Samsung Galaxy A42 5G.

The model was announced not long ago, but we didn’t receive any official information about the hardware of this device.

Now we know why and it is quite important.

The device will be one of the first to have Snapdragon 750G on board. This GPU was not officialy on the market by the time A42 was announced, so they couldn’t provide this information.

It is a big deal for Samsung, because it means that even the cheapest model receive good care from the company and that the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G is a model worth waiting for.

However if you already have a Samsung device, but you have a problem with a network blockade, check our website SIM-UNLOCK.NET.

Moving out from Koodo to different carrierS (plural)??

My Koodo account has three lines for the family ($48 for 5GB+unlimited voice).

Trying to understand two fundamental issues:

#1 Not having much experience with porting:
Can I port two lines to Zoomer ($40.50 for 6GB+Unlimited voice) and one line to Fido ($50 for 9GB+ unlimited voice)?
I am not sure if this kind of porting out individual lines from a current (Koodo) account to different destination carriers is possible.

#2 I understand I will need new SIM cards for each ported line: so if I had wanted to do this over the web via chat with the new carriers then I guess that this would not work because I can’t get a SIM … but isn’t there a way for them to time the port for AFTER the point I receive a mailed SIM?

THnx

I want to activate with PP and port out to Cricket.
I dont want to get a gsm sim because Cricket may reject it.
When i put my imei in at PP it is eligible but it gives no indication of the service type.
